Industrial Coating Application
Protective coating and passive fire protection at height. NORSOK, ISO 12944 compliant.
Steel structures in marine and petrochemical environments need robust coating systems. Our rope access coating teams apply epoxy primers, intumescent fire protection, and topcoats to offshore modules, flare stacks, and bridge steelwork. Surface preparation includes Sa 2½ abrasive blasting and soluble-salt testing.
/ Key Benefits
SSPC / NACE qualified coating inspectors supervising every project
Surface prep and coating from ropes — no swing stage or scaffold
NORSOK M-501 and ISO 12944 C5-M compliant systems
Wet-film and dry-film thickness recorded per panel
/ Frequently Asked
What coating system do you recommend for offshore steel?
Typically a zinc-rich epoxy primer, high-build epoxy intermediate, and polyurethane topcoat for C5-M environments. We tailor spec to your corrosion protection plan.
Can you apply intumescent fire protection from ropes?
Yes. We spray or trowel apply thin-film and thick-film intumescent coatings to structural steel at height, achieving DFT requirements verified by electronic gauge.
